Contos de Verão is a fashion editorial produced for Harper's Bazaar Brazil. The series explores coastal aesthetics and outdoor textures, captured through a mix of warm-toned photography and high-contrast monochrome imagery. Photographer Josefina Bietti and creative director Kleber Matheus lead the visual narrative, which features model Mariana Santana across various seaside settings. The editorial leans into hard light and natural light techniques to highlight the interaction between the subject and rugged environments, such as coastal rocks and tropical foliage. Stylist Marcell Maia provides a wardrobe of sheer, ruffled textures and dark swimwear, while makeup artist Daniel Hernandez maintains a natural aesthetic throughout the shoot. The project incorporates analogue film and chiaroscuro elements, grounding the editorial in a gritty, atmospheric tone that juxtaposes tranquil beach scenes with sharp, geometric compositions.
