Jean Genie is a fashion editorial series produced for Harper's Bazaar Australia. The project utilizes natural light to capture a series of high-fashion looks centered on denim and intricate geometric patterns. The coastal setting provides a consistent backdrop, shifting from bright, sun-drenched beach scenes to warm, golden hour compositions. Photographer Brett Clarke leads the visual direction, working alongside stylist Karla Clarke to curate a wardrobe of embellished denim and metallic accessories. The series employs analogue film techniques and intentional lens flare to enhance the warmth of the coastal environment. Hair stylist Darren Summors and make-up artist Rae Morris contribute to the polished, editorial aesthetic.
