Flow State is a fashion editorial series commissioned for Harper's Bazaar Australia. Photographed by Justin Ridler with fashion styling by Jillian Davison, the project explores the interplay between static form and fluid movement. Featuring hair styling by Ashleigh Carpenter, the imagery centers on high-fashion silhouettes positioned against abstract, reflective metallic backdrops. The subjects are framed by liquid-like distortions and cascading water droplets, creating a surreal and polished environment. These editorial pieces utilise directional lighting to emphasise the textures of silk, sequin, and knit garments against a muted, neutral colour palette.
