Gunna
Brand Identity

Jun 2020
The brand identity developed for Gunna’s Wunna album project stands as a masterclass in modern music marketing, expertly blending esoteric mysticism with high-fidelity digital craftsmanship. By reimagining the iconic Vitruvian Man through a celestial lens, the creative team—anchored by graphic designer Tal Midyan and 3D specialist unfun—has constructed a cohesive visual language that transcends standard promotional materials. The project leverages a sophisticated 3D render and CGI technique to ground its surreal, astronomical motifs in a polished, cinematic reality. Throughout the album’s physical vinyl releases, apparel lines, and digital streaming interfaces, the design maintains a rigorous commitment to its core thematic pillars. Warm, sunset-gradient palettes of orange, purple, and deep blue are contrasted against sharp, geometric typography and complex zodiac-inspired infographics, creating a rhythmic visual experience that mirrors the record's own sonic energy. This is a deliberate exercise in editorial minimalism, where every line of code and every stroke of vector art feels intentional, turning the act of album consumption into a broader cultural statement. By successfully integrating these diverse aesthetic touchpoints into a unified identity, the work elevates the project beyond simple commercial assets, instead offering fans an immersive, highly graphic brand experience that feels both ancient in its mythological reach and entirely futuristic in its execution.
