GORELESQUE is a fashion editorial feature produced for Grey Magazine Italy, showcasing a series of high-fashion compositions that highlight avant-garde styling and intricate sartorial details. Captured by photographer Nicola Pagano under the editorial direction of Valentina Ilardi, the project explores the interplay between minimalist studio portraiture and raw industrial environments. The imagery utilizes a blend of natural light and cinematic techniques to emphasise textural contrasts, from sheer fabrics and feather trims to structured leather and ornate jewellery. By incorporating analogue film aesthetics, the editorial establishes a cohesive visual narrative that balances clean, direct lighting with distressed, weathered backgrounds, framing the model against both modern furniture and stark concrete surfaces.
