Grazia China presents Silhouetted Layers, a fashion editorial project featuring model Xue Gu. The series focuses on structural tailoring and bold textural elements, captured through a high-contrast lens that emphasizes graphic silhouettes and minimalist studio compositions. Photographer Rambo Ding utilises precise directional lighting to highlight the intricate details of the garments, from feathered collars to avant-garde tweed suiting. Techniques such as monochrome grading and clean, desaturated palettes define the visual narrative, ensuring a consistent focus on the intersection of form and apparel. By pairing sleek, sculptural hair and dramatic beauty styling against neutral backdrops, the project leans into a refined, avant-garde aesthetic.
