ECHOES OF AN ERA is a fashion editorial series produced for Grazia Bulgaria. The project leans into a nostalgic, high-contrast aesthetic, utilizing monochrome film techniques to document various retro-inspired styles. Throughout the series, the imagery captures a interplay between classic silhouettes and raw architectural backdrops, ranging from urban rooftops to textured stucco surfaces. Photographed and cast by Manny Roman, the editorial features a series of portraits and full-length studies. The work makes extensive use of hard light and chiaroscuro, emphasizing the intricate details of lace garments and jewelry while maintaining a clean, editorial focus.
