Glass Man YKWSF 2025

About

Glass Man explores avant-garde menswear in its YKWSF editorial series, a project that blends structured garment silhouettes with rural and coastal landscapes. Photographed by Elliot James Kennedy, the series employs a mix of hard light and natural daylight to emphasize the tactile layering and graphic contrasts inherent in the styling by Lewis Munro. Models Jum Kuochnin and Li Cheng Yuan feature throughout the set, which spans from crisp, sun-drenched outdoor portraiture to high-contrast monochrome imagery. Techniques including analogue film, direct flash, and creative foreground framing are utilized to maintain a raw and graphic visual language. The project benefits from casting directed by Theo Spencer and makeup artistry by Phoebe Taylor, with the final compositions presented in a distinct editorial format.
