Notes On Stillness is a fashion editorial series for Glass Magazine that explores the tension between traditional interior settings and contemporary urban environments. Photographed by Otto Masters, the series leverages the texture and aesthetic characteristics of analogue film to document a range of looks that shift between minimalist silhouettes and intricate, embellished layering. The imagery moves from the domestic quiet of tatami-lined rooms and shoji screens to the concrete textures of suburban and industrial streetscapes. Through the work of hair stylist Masashi Konno and casting director MC Barnes, the editorial maintains a consistent, precise visual language centered on a signature blunt bob, allowing the collection’s nuanced interplay of sheer fabrics, floral appliqués, and pastel palettes to remain the focal point.
