Dark Tide is a fashion editorial series for Glamour Bulgaria, conceptualized as a study in high-contrast textures and raw, coastal environments. The imagery captures the juxtaposition of structured, high-fashion silhouettes against the rugged, volcanic terrain of a coastal landscape. Photographer Vinh Vu employs natural lighting and clean, vertical compositions to emphasize the sculptural quality of the garments, ranging from tailored pantsuits to embellished evening wear. Moving between moody, atmospheric outdoor settings and controlled studio portraiture, the project leans into earthy, gritty aesthetics. The series integrates a diverse set of textures—from shimmering sequins and glossy denim to stone and oceanic elements—to ground the styling in a tactile, atmospheric narrative.
