Core Principles is a fashion editorial series for FAZ Magazine that explores the intersection of high-concept athletic aesthetics and sculptural tailoring. Photographed by Benjamin Vnuk, the series channels a clean, minimalist editorial style, utilizing directional studio lighting to emphasize the interplay between form and movement.
Throughout the project, fashion stylists Leonie Volk and Tereza Ortiz layer avant-garde garments and metallic hardware against gym apparatus and gym-inspired props. The production features a polished aesthetic, with set design by Paulina Piipponen creating a consistent, clean environment that contrasts with the raw, gritty textures introduced through projection techniques and layered fabrics.
Contributing to the production are hair stylist Masashi Konno, makeup artist Faye Bluff, and manicurist Christie Huseyin. The project features models Adhar Abiem and Ana Flávia, whose dynamic posing anchors the series' focus on silhouettes and material interplay.
