Description

Exhibition Magazine explores the intersection of architecture and high fashion in The Room, a compelling editorial spread that feels less like a traditional photoshoot and more like a quiet dialogue between silhouette and space. Photographer Coni Tarallo captures the essence of luxury fashion houses through a series of portraits that lean into editorial minimalism, utilizing natural light to carve out the sharp, geometric shapes of the featured garments. The project relies on the precise styling of Carolina Orrico, who balances the architectural nature of oversized blazers and voluminous skirts with intricate, tactile details like gold-toned embroidery and leather textures. Model Jeanne Cadieu grounds the narrative, her composed, neutral gaze anchoring the interplay between the subject and the stark, wood-paneled interiors. Casting director Evagria Sergeeva ensures a consistent visual rhythm throughout, as the imagery shifts effortlessly from the clean lines of studio portraiture to the soft, cinematic quality of 35mm film captures. By placing the subject in deliberate proximity to minimalist furniture and light-filled windows, the series elevates the clothing into sculptural objects. The final collection channels an elevated, monochromatic aesthetic that feels both timeless and grounded, documenting a masterful synthesis of structural design and human form where every shadow and texture is meticulously curated to define the contemporary luxury landscape.
