Epic Journey is a sprawling fashion editorial series for W Magazine, captured by photographer David Sims. The project leans into a cinematic and narrative-driven approach, utilizing a mix of high-contrast monochrome and desaturated, nostalgic palettes to build a surreal atmosphere. Ranging from intimate studio portraits to expansive outdoor scenes, the work frequently utilizes analogue film techniques to emphasize texture, scale, and character-led storytelling. Creative direction by Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel provides a cohesive visual thread through varied settings, supported by Benjamin Bruno’s eclectic fashion styling.
