In The Wake of the Wind is a fashion editorial series produced for Elle Taiwan. Captured by photographer Thanassis Krikis, the project leans into a high-fashion aesthetic set against rugged, elemental landscapes. The editorial features a model posed amongst large granite boulders and dry grassy fields. Fashion director Christos Alexandropoulos curates a wardrobe of vibrant, textured ensembles—ranging from monochrome crimson pieces to floral patterns and knitwear—frequently accented with dynamic ribbons and fabric garlands that capture the motion of the wind. The series utilises hard, natural light to create sharp silhouettes and warmth, emphasising the contrast between soft, wind-swept hair and the weathered, earthy environment. Makeup artist Hara Papanikolaou provides the finishing touches to the subject's look throughout the shoot.
