Elle Italia
Glam Eye - Cartier special

Jul 2026
In a sophisticated convergence of luxury branding and high-end fashion editorial, the Glam Eye project for Elle Italia transforms the act of wearing eyewear into a masterclass in minimalist visual storytelling. Photographer Nicolò Parsenziani captures a series of intimate portraits that strip away environmental clutter, relying instead on a clean, off-white studio palette to elevate Cartier’s latest collection. By utilizing a deliberate mix of studio strobe and soft natural light, the series emphasizes the delicate metallic finishes and architectural geometry of the frames, allowing the luxury eyewear to command the viewer's full attention. Fashion editor Ivana Spernicelli orchestrates this narrative through an aesthetic of refined restraint, pairing high-fashion accessories with textured knits and sheer garments that read as both modern and timeless. With the collaborative support of hair stylist Ezio Diaferia and makeup artist Karin Borromeo, the portraits celebrate individual features, ensuring the models—including Emese Nyiro, LJ Clossick, Mag Cysewska, Philyne Mercedes, and Shujing Zhou—remain the focal point. The resulting imagery channels a quiet, polished intensity that feels perfectly suited for a prestige publication. This editorial portrait work succeeds by treating the eyewear as sculptural objects, proving that true luxury is often found in the interplay of shadow, skin texture, and precise, intentional framing, creating a cohesive visual language that feels both accessible and aspirational.
