For the Denim Issue of Elle Italia, photographer Adriano Russo curates a series of fashion editorials centered on the versatility of contemporary denim. The series employs a clean, minimalist studio aesthetic to emphasize the tactile qualities of layered garments, from distressed denim and heavy outerwear to intricate, textured textiles. Through a combination of natural light and monochrome grading, the imagery maintains a polished focus on current apparel styling. The project features fashion styling by Monica Curetti, with hair styling by Ezio Diaferia and makeup artistry by Letizia Morlè. Models including Ziqi Wang appear throughout the series, which utilizes editorial, vertical, and clean composition techniques to highlight the structural proportions of each outfit.
