Elle France: Grand Ecrin

Grand Ecrin is a fashion editorial series commissioned by Elle France, focusing on high-contrast portraiture and textural detail. The project leans into a minimalist aesthetic, often utilising monochrome grading and analogue film to frame its subject against both clean, high-key backdrops and rich, domestic settings. Photographer James Buzz White leads the visual direction, capturing model Klara Kristin through a lens of graphic simplicity and soft natural light. The production features meticulous styling by Elisabeth Akessoul, who coordinates intricate lace, metallic textiles, and layered jewellery. Complementing the wardrobe, hair styling by Michael Bui and makeup by Tatsu Yamanaka provide a polished finish across various editorial layouts.
