For the Elle France feature 'À Nous L'Été!', photographer Marie Schmidt captures a vibrant exploration of seasonal style. This editorial series leans into a warm, sun-drenched aesthetic, utilizing natural light to highlight textures across swimwear, crochet knits, and athletic-inspired apparel. The project maintains a cohesive visual language through deliberate, clean compositions and a consistent, golden-hued palette that evokes a relaxed resort atmosphere. Working alongside fashion stylist Anne-Marie Brouillet, the production team emphasises tactile details—from glistening water droplets to intricate knitwork—supported by the wet-look hair styling of Javier Palacio and the radiant, expressive makeup artistry of Tatsu Yamanaka. Featuring models Marlijn Hoek and Sean Levy, the imagery oscillates between expansive outdoor action shots and intimate beauty portraits, employing techniques like high-speed motion freezing and analogue-style film grain to build a nostalgic, summery narrative.
