Elle Belgium
The March Issue

Mar 2026
For The March Issue of Elle Belgium, a formidable creative team has assembled an editorial masterclass that redefines the intersection of high fashion and conceptual portraiture. Under the expert lens of photographer Willy Vanderperre and the sharp editorial vision of fashion director Élodie Ouédraogo, this project leans into an avant-garde aesthetic that feels both timeless and bracingly modern. Casting director Samuel Ellis Scheinman has curated a diverse ensemble of models, including Binx Walton and Achol Ayor, whose striking presence provides the necessary canvas for a series of highly architectural and sculptural looks. The imagery, defined by a deliberate use of studio strobe, oscillates between high-key, minimalist white backdrops and moody, low-key chiaroscuro that emphasizes texture and form. From intricate Delft-inspired corsetry to voluminous, shaggy textile experiments and dramatic feathered silhouettes, the styling is elevated by the intricate hair work of Louis Ghewy and the precise, emotive makeup artistry of Peter Philips. The resulting portfolio reads as a cohesive, sophisticated narrative that highlights the technical craft of fashion production while pushing the boundaries of traditional editorial minimalism. By focusing on clean, vertical lines and bold monochromatic contrasts, the team transforms simple garments into striking studies of shape, shadow, and poise, successfully grounding the complex sartorial designs within a polished, professional, and visually arresting framework.
