By the Beach is a fashion editorial series for Elle Australia featuring model Laura Helene Christensen. The project moves through diverse coastal environments, ranging from architectural concrete settings to sandy shorelines, focusing on dynamic movement and candid posing. Photographer Pierre Toussaint captures the collection in a blend of colour and monochrome, leaning into the textures of swimwear and coastal architecture. The series utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to create a consistent, clean aesthetic throughout the shoot. Fashion editor and stylist Naomi Smith coordinates the wardrobe, with hair styling by Rory Rice and makeup by Jasmine Abdallaoui.
