DSECTION Magazine features Paralympic athlete Simone Barlaam in a series of fashion editorials produced in collaboration with Emporio Armani. The project focuses on tailored luxury apparel, utilizing clean, minimalist studio environments and high-contrast monochrome treatments to highlight the athlete's form and the collection's sharp silhouettes. The series leans into a polished editorial aesthetic, documented through the lens of photographer Giuseppe Vaccaro. Art direction by Ivano Mansueto and styling by Lorenzo Garzelli define the visual narrative, which juxtaposes structured, textured outerwear against stark white backgrounds. Grooming by hair stylist Ezio Diaferia completes the look, utilizing techniques such as analogue film, high-key lighting, and chiaroscuro to emphasize garment texture and silhouette.
