Double Magazine marks its 50th issue with a series of distinct editorial portraits for the Fall/Winter 2025 covers. The collection leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing soft, diffused lighting and natural light to emphasize raw skin textures and complex layering. Across the series, the imagery shifts between high-contrast monochrome and clean color palettes, employing retro styling and structured compositions to frame the models. Creative oversight was led by Editor-in-Chief Fabrice Paineau, with photography contributed by Alasdair McLellan, Horst Diekgerdes, Liv Liberg, Mark Kean, Moni Haworth, and Oliver Hadlee Pearch. The visual narratives are further defined by the work of fashion editors including Akeem Smith, Brian Molloy, Charlotte Collet, Jodie Barnes, Lotta Volkova, and Marie Chaix. Featuring talent such as Edie Campbell, Julia Nobis, and Yura Romaniuk, the issue highlights a diverse range of fashion and beauty textures.
