Description
Dick Walter captures the raw output of a big band orchestra in this session recording at Angel Studios. The project documents a full ensemble, featuring sections of trombones, trumpets, saxophones, and rhythm support including upright bass, guitar, and drums, performing within the historic studio space. With musical production and sound direction handled by Score Production Music, the film employs a clean, cinematic live-action technique to highlight the technical precision of the conductor and his musicians. The horizontal format captures the interplay between the conductor and the orchestra as they work through the arrangement.
