Material Girl is a fashion editorial produced for Departures Magazine, centering on high-contrast styling and sculptural jewelry. Photographed by Tobias Delcroix, the series features model Morgan Fernandez in a variety of monochrome ensembles, ranging from structured black dresses to tailored jumpsuits. The production leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, utilizing a seamless studio backdrop to focus on the interplay of texture between sheer fabrics, leather accents, and layered metallic accessories. Technique and detail are highlighted through voluminous hair styling by Keiichiro Hirano and precise nail art by Chisato Yamamoto. Captured with a polished, editorial focus, the imagery employs soft, directional lighting to emphasize the silhouettes and intricate metalwork.
