Paper Magazine: Dentro del universo de Bodine
Sep 2026
Dentro del universo de Bodine is a fashion editorial series for Paper Magazine, featuring a study in movement and coordinated theatricality. The project moves from a minimalist studio setting to an urban landscape, using a clean aesthetic to highlight structured textiles and tulle. Photographer Joaquin Castillo captures a series of rhythmic compositions, ranging from intimate portraits of model Dia Crosse to synchronized processions of dancers. The imagery leans into the contrast between soft, voluminous fabrics and sharp, monochrome grading, utilising natural light to define the silhouettes of the performers. The series is grounded by hair styling from Takayuki Umeda, who contributes to the uniform, masked aesthetic across the group portraits. The project makes extensive use of monochrome and analogue film techniques to emphasize texture.
