D Repubblica Smart Working 2026

About

In Smart Working, a multi-faceted fashion campaign for D Repubblica, the convergence of high-end tailoring and contemporary lifestyle takes center stage. Photographed by Fabrizio Martinelli, this editorial project navigates the evolving intersection of professional dressing and personal expression. The visual narrative leans into a sophisticated minimalism, utilizing sharp studio strobe lighting alongside soft natural light to sculpt the human form against stark, high-contrast backdrops. Fashion editor and stylist Francesca Ottaviani masterfully juxtaposes structured navy blazers with ethereal tulle skirts and sequined trousers, effectively grounding high-fashion elements in an approachable, modern reality. With the expert support of hair stylists Daniela Magginetti and Simone Prusso, alongside makeup artists Ricky Morandin and Tanja Friscic, model Anna Viksoe embodies a versatile aesthetic that balances formal professional polish with an effortless, candid spirit. The series employs varied visual textures, from the lo-fi, documentary-inspired analogue film aesthetic to clean, graphic portraiture. By blending these techniques, the project creates a dialogue between the rigidity of corporate dress codes and the fluidity of modern style. Casting director Simone Bart Rocchietti plays a pivotal role in ensuring the talent brings a compelling, neutral depth to these compositions, resulting in a cohesive portfolio that feels both timeless and distinctly tuned to the current cultural pulse of high-fashion editorial production.
