Plushed Out is a high-fashion editorial story for D Repubblica, captured by photographer Tim El Kaïm. The series leans into a tactile exploration of contrast, juxtaposing voluminous, textured fur garments against sleek, transparent plastic detailing in an urban park setting. With an aesthetic that channels a retro, 1960s-inspired mood, the imagery utilizes high-contrast monochrome and analogue film grain to emphasize raw physical textures and sculptural silhouettes. The project features model Lulu Tenney, whose varied looks are curated by fashion editor and stylist Jacob K. The editorial benefits from the technical contributions of hair stylist Olivier Schawalder and makeup artist Lucy Bridge, alongside set design by Michael Price. The production was supported by casting directors Giulia Massullo and Piergiorgio Del Moro, resulting in a cohesive visual narrative defined by its deliberate layering and composed, architectural environments.
