D Repubblica presents a series of cover portraits for The Fashion Issue Volume I 2025. This editorial project, led by Editor-in-Chief Emanuele Farneti, explores high-contrast beauty and structured tailoring through a distinctive retro-inspired lens. Photographer Sharna Osborne captures the subjects against clean, neutral backgrounds, allowing the saturated color palettes and detailed styling to command focus. The series features fashion editing and styling by Jacob K, with hair by Guido Palau and makeup by Sam Visser. The imagery utilizes analogue film and natural light to document diverse textures—from voluminous, styled hair to metallic accents and vibrant leather accessories. Casting was managed by Giulia Massullo and Piergiorgio Del Moro, with additional contributions by manicurist Cam Tran. The final compositions integrate editorial typography, blending contemporary fashion magazine design with a polished, 1970s aesthetic.
