Beyond the Veil, an editorial fashion project for D Repubblica, captures a curated selection of luxury accessories through a conceptual and minimalist lens. The series highlights fine craftsmanship across footwear, handbags, and jewelry, often employing a dreamlike, hazy aesthetic to soften the sharp details of each piece. Photographer Marco Lessi utilizes natural light and macro perspectives to emphasize tactile qualities, ranging from gold metallic sheen to structured quilted textures. Set design by Beatrice Bonino provides a clean, neutral backdrop that balances delicate translucent veils with solid, architectural surfaces. The project is overseen by Editor-in-Chief Emanuele Farneti.
