For Citizen K Homme, photographer Aytekin Yalçın explores the depths of subterranean aesthetics in the fashion editorial project, Speleo. Featuring model Ondrej Mokoš, the series is anchored in a cavernous, subterranean grotto, utilising the natural limestone formations, stalactites, and stalagmites as a rugged counterpoint to avant-garde high fashion silhouettes. Fashion editor Laurent Dombrowicz curates a dramatic, textured wardrobe ranging from sculptural capes and fur outerwear to sheer layers and embellished tailoring. The execution relies heavily on low-key chiaroscuro lighting and cinematic atmosphere, with grooming by hair stylist Eduardo Bravo and makeup artist Hugo Villard leaning into raw, surreal, and sometimes theatrical applications to complement the cave environment.
