Christopher Esber’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection is captured through a series of backstage portraits by photographer Vincent Fandos. The project documents the final preparations for the runway presentation, focusing on the intersection of architectural garment construction and the tactile nature of the brand’s signature draped designs. Styling by Ilona Hamer and makeup artistry by Filomena Natoli lean into a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The imagery employs editorial framing and soft lighting to highlight the artisanal fabric manipulation and raw textures inherent in the collection. With casting directed by Nicolas Bianciotto, the series features models including Brynn Bonner, Diana Li, Hannah McNeil, Kayako Higuchi, Merlijne Schorren, Tida Rosvall, and Victoria Massey. The documentary-style approach captures candid moments of tailoring alongside posed portraits, emphasizing the raw, atmospheric tension of the show’s backstage environment.
