British Vogue’s Family Classics is a fashion editorial series that explores themes of heritage and rural connection through a series of candid, outdoor vignettes. Captured by photographer Toby Coulson, the project leans into an authentic, countryside-inspired aesthetic that emphasizes organic textures and soft daylight. Creative director Raul Martinez and fashion editor Tallulah Harlech frame the narrative with a focus on grounded, playful interactions, ranging from quiet moments in lush gardens to active scenes in open meadows. The editorial utilises analogue film techniques to achieve a grainy, desaturated, and earthy visual quality that highlights the interplay between luxury fashion and rustic settings. The production was supported by hair stylist Yumi Nakada-Dingle and makeup artist Marie Bruce, who contributed to the naturalistic character of the imagery.
