Ballad Studio
Brand Identity

May 2026
Ballad Studio emerges as a masterclass in modern brand identity, seamlessly bridging the gap between corporate precision and avant-garde creative expression. Through a sophisticated visual language, the project employs a monochromatic palette and high-contrast studio strobe lighting to emphasize the tactile, premium quality of its packaging and apparel components. The design work, spearheaded by Pol Muxart, relies on a refined interplay of cursive typography and clean, sans-serif blocks to establish an aesthetic that feels both timeless and aggressively contemporary. Beyond standard commercial application, the identity system leans into an experimental, editorial minimalism that challenges traditional presentation. This is particularly evident in the campaign’s more surreal outputs, where the use of double exposure and complex VFX visual effects transforms standard product photography into a non-linear, cinematic narrative. By integrating digital distortions, butterfly motifs, and inverted-colour aesthetic techniques, the brand creates a layered, immersive experience that transcends simple product labeling. The execution achieves a striking balance: it maintains the legibility required for high-end corporate identity while pushing the boundaries of lifestyle branding. Every element, from the carefully stitched garment labels to the fragmented, stylized portraiture, speaks to a cohesive vision that prioritizes graphic structure and conceptual depth, ultimately positioning Ballad Studio as a disruptive force within the modern design landscape.
