Virgin Suicides is a fashion editorial series produced for Behind the Blinds, capturing a series of portraits and street-style images that emphasize layered tailoring and classic menswear silhouettes. Photographed by Jonas Huckstorf, the project transitions between controlled studio portraiture and documentary-inspired outdoor compositions, utilising editorial, monochrome, and natural light techniques to highlight the textures of leather, wool, and heavy outerwear. The styling, led by Ingo Nahrwold, focuses on structured garments and intricate layering, including double-breasted suits, statement overcoats, and patterned ties. Featuring models Igor Vandenplas and Jurkuch Garang, the series maintains a consistent visual language that balances soft studio lighting with the raw backdrop of European architectural settings. Grooming, including hair by Delphine Bonnet and makeup by Steven Canavan, supports the polished, defined aesthetic across both black-and-white and colour outputs.
