Velvet Morning is a fashion editorial series for Behind the Blinds that focuses on minimalist composition and texture. The project features model Sara Grace Wallerstedt in a series of studio-based portraits that explore contrasts between delicate fabric draping, ornate jewellery, and structured silhouettes. Through clean, high-key lighting, the work highlights subtle facial details and intricate garment textures. The series was brought to life by photographer Wish Thanasarakhan, with editorial direction from Editor-in-Chief Michael Marson. The visual narrative is defined by a clean, consistent aesthetic across all imagery, utilizing soft, natural light to maintain an intimate atmosphere. Hair styling by Nastya Miliaeva complements the series, framing the subject with natural waves and precise styling that anchors the editorial's minimalist approach.
