The New Edge is a fashion editorial series produced for Behind the Blinds that explores contemporary menswear through a lens of minimalist, studio-based portraiture. The collection emphasizes tactile material contrasts, featuring layered knits, leather separates, and sculptural headpieces that anchor the visual narrative. Photographer Sasha Munaev leads the aesthetic direction, utilizing both clean studio lighting and natural light to capture the interplay of texture and form. The series benefits from the fashion styling of Marco Drammis, whose work highlights current silhouettes with a refined, edge-focused approach. Hair by Joel Phillips and makeup by Cyril Laine further define the project’s polished look, while casting director Jordan Mergirie secures a cohesive visual presence across all portraits, including lead model Marnix Eyckmans.
