The New Edge is a fashion editorial series for Behind the Blinds that explores contemporary masculine silhouettes through a minimalist studio lens. The project leans into clean, high-contrast aesthetics and is captured through analogue film, emphasizing a raw, textural approach to modern tailoring and layered apparel. Photographer Sasha Munaev leads the series, working alongside fashion editor and stylist Marco Drammis to curate a selection of layered knitwear, leather, and patterned separates. The editorial portraits feature model Marnix Eyckmans, with grooming provided by hair stylist Joel Phillips and makeup artist Cyril Laine. The imagery channels a moody, deliberate atmosphere, utilizing natural light and varied studio lighting to accentuate both the subjects and the sculptural details of the garments.
