Behind the Blinds

Roommate is a fashion editorial series for Behind the Blinds, capturing a series of intimate, domestic vignettes. Photographer Sasha Munaev leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, utilising soft natural light to highlight the intricate textures of the featured garments. The imagery relies on a desaturated, pastel palette to create a nostalgic atmosphere, set against sparse, carefully curated interior backdrops of patterned wallpaper and neutral studio walls. The project features styling by Marco Drammis, who balances structured leather tailoring with voluminous knitwear and layered details. The production is supported by hair stylist Kazue Deki and makeup artist Anna Sadamori, with casting directed by Irene Manicone. Models Lucien Le Nevé, Merel Roggeveen, and Hector Herody appear throughout the series, which channels an editorial style through clean composition and tactile, analogue-inspired techniques.
