MOVING ABOVE is a menswear editorial feature for Behind the Blinds, capturing a series of contemplative portraits across both domestic interior and industrial rooftop settings. The project leans into a raw, unvarnished aesthetic that balances soft domesticity with the expansive, gritty scale of an urban cityscape. Photographer Guilherme da Silva utilizes natural light throughout the series to highlight fine textures, from intricate botanical jacquard motifs to the metallic sheen of emergency foil wraps. The execution pairs relaxed, layered menswear with tactile styling, maintaining a cohesive, cinematic sensibility across monochrome and desaturated film-based compositions. Styling contributions include hair by Davide Perfetti and makeup by Filippo Ferrari, with casting led by Alan Brethaud.
