Markus Wiedemann is a fashion editorial series commissioned for Behind the Blinds, capturing a series of raw and expressive portraits. Photographed by Anastasia and Sasha Laukart, the project oscillates between minimalist studio settings and gritty, industrial outdoor environments to create a multifaceted study of character and movement. The imagery employs monochrome and desaturated tones, frequently utilizing analogue film and natural light to emphasize texture—from heavy, voluminous outerwear and distressed denim to the tactile details of layered streetwear. Through a blend of candid motion and sculptural posing, the series leans into an aesthetic of authentic spontaneity and sharp contrast.
