Ayawaskha: Brand Identity
Jan 2022
Ayawaskha’s brand identity project establishes a refined visual language across both digital and physical applications. The identity leans into high-contrast typography and minimalist graphic layouts, utilizing a palette of black, white, yellow, and deep blue to bridge the gap between abstract digital presentation and tangible, tactile print assets. The execution relies on a blend of commercial photography and graphic design to ground the brand in a natural, culinary context. Through the lens of photographer Pablo Alzaga, the identity incorporates editorial food imagery and layered landscape photography, featuring subtle use of emboss and deboss techniques on paper collateral. Graphic designers Fabio Florez and Jose Houdini lead the visual development, employing clean serif typography and geometric motifs that feel both cinematic and grounded in earthy textures.
