About

Aurora Borealis is a beauty and fashion editorial series produced for Puss Puss Magazine. Captured by photographer Anthony Arquier, the project centres on a collection of tight, macro-focused portraits featuring model Litza Veloz. The series leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, utilising natural light and flash to emphasise skin textures, subtle freckles, and high-shine makeup details. The visual narrative is defined by a polished approach to styling, with fashion editor Tania Rat Patron pairing sculptural accessories and layered garments against neutral studio backdrops. The editorial is supported by hair styling from Kazue Deki and makeup artistry by Gianluca Venerdini, incorporating elements like glossy finishes, frosted tones, and graphic eyewear. Casting was directed by Timoer Nulens.
