About

Una historia de piel is an expansive fashion editorial campaign for Adolfo Dominguez, directed by Felipe Ayala. Set against the stark, arid terrain of a desert landscape, the work leans into an earthy aesthetic that bridges high-end luxury with rugged, natural environments. Photographer Roi Romay captures the series using analogue film techniques, utilizing natural light to define the textures of the apparel and the surrounding rock formations. Through a clean and minimalist lens, the campaign focuses on the interaction between the subject, Zakaria Dau, and the vast, sun-drenched backdrop, with makeup by Fidel Fernandez providing a subtle, consistent finish across the portraits.
