Zeit Magazine
100 Years of Future

Sep 2026
Zeit Magazine explores a futuristic aesthetic in the fashion editorial series 100 Years of Future. Featuring model Sophia Friesen, the project utilizes an industrial studio environment populated with vintage laboratory equipment, circular instrument dials, and exposed technical cabling to construct a narrative of temporal progression. Captured by photographer Thomas Hauser, the series leans into high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting to accentuate the textures of the apparel and the sculptural quality of the set pieces. The editorial, which incorporates styling by Klaus Stockhausen, presents a range of structured and layered garments, from intricate crocheted mesh gowns to minimalist high-collared dresses. Throughout the session, hair styling by Tony Lundström and makeup by Kenny Campbell complement the monochromatic, analogue-film aesthetic, emphasizing sharp highlights and deep shadows within the frames.
