Younès Klouche is a distinguished photographer based in both Paris and Lausanne, where he masterfully navigates the realms of fine art and commercial photography. Known for his innovative approach to the documentary genre, Klouche's personal projects have garnered recognition in prestigious institutions such as the Musée de l’Elysée and Tate Modern. His work is characterized by a conceptual and reflexive lens that challenges traditional narratives, inviting viewers to engage with photography in new and thought-provoking ways. A graduate with honours from the esteemed École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL), Klouche quickly established a prominent commercial practice in Paris, fostering strong collaborations with influential clients, producers, and art directors. His diverse portfolio encompasses advertising campaigns, compelling editorial stories, and artistic musical projects, with a particular emphasis on still life photography. In 2016, Klouche made a significant mark on the photographic landscape with the release of his first monographic photo book, published by Éditions du LIC, during the renowned Rencontres d’Arles. This visual essay explores the evolution of documentary photography through striking imagery captured across North America.
