William Geddes' journey into the world of visual arts ignited at a young age, fueled by his early experiences in photography and lighting design for school theater productions. This initial passion blossomed into a professional pursuit as he honed his skills through photography workshops, eventually assisting established photographers in New York. Today, William is celebrated for his versatility, adeptly capturing a diverse array of subjects—from evocative still lifes and intimate interiors to dynamic lifestyle assignments for the editorial, advertising, and publishing sectors. His artistic excellence has not gone unnoticed; William is a proud recipient of Canada’s Northern Lights Award for Excellence in Travel Journalism and Photography, a testament to his skill and dedication to the craft. In addition to his commercial endeavors, he holds an MFA in Photography and Related Media from Parsons – The New School for Design, further enriching his artistic perspective. Residing in New York with his wife and two daughters, William continues to explore the intersection of art and life, creating compelling visual narratives that resonate with audiences around the world.
