Vanessa’s dream of becoming a Make Up artist was spurred in a moment whilst watching Kevyn Aucoin on Oprah. She has never looked back, her career beginning in London working on magazine and advertising shoots. During this time she also assisted some of the world’s most renowned artists at prestige agencies like Streeters and Premier on jobs such as British Vogue and London Fashion Week. Vanessa’s work has appeared in numerous national and international publications including French Glamour Magazine, Australian Cosmopolitan and Australian In Style to name a few. She has worked with celebrities such as Bryan Adams, Ronan Keating, David Guetta, James Blunt, Guy Sebastian, and Jack Vidgen, who appreciate her for her easygoing yet hard working attitude on set. Vanessa loves high fashion editorials, where she is able to collaborate with a team to create a memorable story. Vanessa’s advertising clients include brands such as Puma, We Are Handsome, Nookie, Ezibuy, Hasselblad UK, and Next UK. Not restricted to print media, her television work has included The X Factor Australia, The MTV Australian Music Video Awards and Australia’s Next Top Model. Her clean and polished make up; both natural and bold have an edge. Vanessa personalises every job she does, working to enhance the models bones structure and features. Her passion lies not only in the beauty of creating a story but the satisfaction of making a ‘real’ person feel beautiful. Vanessa's love of faces began as a teenager in the 90's where she obsessed over the original super models like Claudia Schiffer and Stephanie Seymour. This passion is still evident in her work, especially her signature flawless skin and perfectly groomed brows.
