Tomo Brejc, born on October 31, 1975, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, has cultivated a lifelong passion for photography that began in his early childhood. His academic journey took him to the University of Ljubljana, where he earned a degree in Philosophy and Cultural Sociology. His compelling thesis, titled "The End of Photography or Merely an Opportunity to Reconsider an Visual Culture," reflects his deep engagement with the medium and its evolving significance in contemporary society. Following graduation, Brejc fully embraced his artistic calling, channeling his expertise into photography, film, and video. Today, he is recognized for his innovative approach to image-making, continuously exploring the interplay of visual culture and personal expression.
