Tom Munro is an acclaimed British photographer and director known for his striking imagery and innovative visual storytelling. Born in England in 1964, he made a transformative move to New York in the early 1990s to pursue his passion for photography, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious Parsons School of Design. Early in his career, Tom honed his skills as an assistant to the legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel, before launching his own successful photographic career in 1997. After two decades of thriving in New York's vibrant art scene, Tom returned to his roots in London in 2015, where he continues to create captivating work. His fashion and editorial photography has graced the pages of renowned publications worldwide, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, V Magazine, Vanity Fair, and W Magazine. Tom's impressive roster of advertising clients includes luxury brands such as Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, showcasing his versatile ability to capture the essence of high fashion. He is particularly celebrated for his compelling celebrity portraiture, having collaborated with a remarkable array of icons including Adele, Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé, and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others. In 2008, Tom made his directorial debut with the music video for Madonna's "Give It 2 Me," featuring Pharrell Williams. This successful collaboration opened the door to further projects with the pop icon, including the visually stunning works for "Die Another Day," "Human Nature," "Justify My Love," and "Turn Up The Radio."
