I’m a Director based in Sydney, represented by Good Oil Films and a former international award winning Creative Director. I have been writing ads since 2001 in various agencies in the US and AUS. But went full Director in 2019 - yes, terrific timing. I have always had a love for craft, performance and scale. I love great advertising films and am laser focussed on climbing the steep slope back to where I was as a CD and beyond. As a Director. In my creative life I have worked at some of the most creative agencies on both continents including Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Venables Bell & Partners, DDB Chicago, The Glue Society, The Monkeys, DDB Sydney and MOJO. I bring with me a huge amount of big budget experience across a wide range of clients including; Reebok, PlayStation, NBA, Jeep, Dollar Shave Club, Nike, Skittles, Specialized Bicycles, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Volkswagen, Gatorade, Toyota, Doritos, ComCast, Google, YouTube, IKEA and a bunch I’ve forgotten. I love ideas, and trying to help make them better. As a creative I've been recognized at all the big shows in a wide range of categories – and I’m hungry for more. Outside of advertising my interests include surfing, checking the surf, researching surfboards, watching surfing contests, and dreaming of surfing. When I’m not doing surf related things I like to skateboard, ski, run marathons, play tennis, rock climb and drink only the finest quality artisanal lattes.
