Bio

Tim Ashton creates work that is underpinned by a telltale energy. After studying at the Queensland College of Art, Tim moved to New York to work alongside the world’s leading photographers. His work is technically refined, stoic, and ethereal. He experiments with expression and movement to build layers of depth and strength. A push and pull with intuition that works with a team’s potential, not against. Steered by the input of his collaborators to inform lighting, composition, and pose, Tim allows the pieces to land as they fall. Tim Ashton has collaborated with Camilla & Marc, Commas, Country Road, David Jones, EMI Music, EVO, INCU, Manning Cartell, Marcs, Matin, Mecca, NME, Veronika Maine, and Witchery. He has featured in Cero Magazine, Elle Ukraine, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar Australia, InStyle, Jane Magazine, Love Want, Marie Claire, Rollacoaster Magazine, Rollingstone, RUSSH, Stellar Magazine, and Vogue Australia.
